Details of the Response

1) What was the total number of clinical nurse specialists working in (a) stoma care (b) continence (c) urology employed by your Trust in each of the last ten years;

See spreadsheet attached. Due to a change in employee system the Trust can only provide nine years of data. We do not employ ‘Continence Nurses’.

Specialist practice registrations are not recorded on our electronic employee system. The Trust holds the data in manual form, in individual personnel files, but considers it exempt under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, as the cost of compliance would exceed the appropriate limit.

 

4) What was the total number of specialist nurses employed by your Trust in each of the last ten years?
