  2. Please state (in headcount numbers) how many of these doctors have taken sickness absence (of ANY duration) during the financial year 2013/14.
     
  3. Please list the reasons for these absences next to the corresponding (headcount) number of doctors.
     
  4. If possible, please then state how many doctors took sickness absence of MORE THAN four weeks (ie: 20 working days), during the financial year 2013/14 because of (ASD) anxiety, stress or depression.
     
  5. It is accepted that rates of anxiety, stress, depression (ASD) are highest among health professionals (compared with most other occupations). Please detail any initiatives your organisation is adopting to specifically target sickness absence as a result of ASD among your medical workforce.

There is no specific targeted sickness absence of medical workforce for this organisation, all employees are subject to Trust policies and procedures in relation to sickness absence.

The Trust has a specific sickness absence policy that all managers follow.

The Trust has a specific policy on workplace pressure with risk assessment process.

The Trust has access to in-house SEQOHS accredited OH service that any employee can self-refer to for advice relating to health affecting work.

The Trust has access to 24/7 employee assistance service through telephone counselling, face to face counselling and information.

The Trust has a specific recruitment process for the induction of medical workforce to the Trust including OH assessment from date of employment.
