This document sets out the process in place for the Occupational Health (OH) preplacement screening of all individuals being recruited to posts within Ashford & St. Peters Hospitals (ASPH) NHS Foundation Trust. This includes both new staff, and existing staff who are moving posts within the Trust.
To ensure that the individual is fit for a specific job and that carrying out the duties of the job, will not adversely affect the individual’s health or that of colleagues and clients / patients.
To advise Line Managers of any restrictions / modifications necessary to ensure the individual can safely work in the job for which they have applied.
